NOT WOW! Ventured out to a store now that COVID-19 Lockdown has been lifted. Arrows mark the correct path, except the arrows lead to dead ends. How are we ever to get through the store and observe social distancing if the store is leading us into lanes that go back on themselves or never change direction. Guess we have to make our own path. NOT WOW!
WOW! During the lockdown we ordered takeout from our favorite Mexican Restaurant. Even with a mask on the manager recognized me and asked how the family was doing. With a group of people waiting to have their order brought to them, he took the time to make each experience a personalized one. Can’t wait to get back to that dining room. WOW! Same Mexican restaurant, greets my son with hi-fives and brings drinks to us without even having to ask. It’s like going to a family members house to eat! WOW!
WOW! During lockdown for COVID-19 there was a real push to support local restaurants. When I go to pick up our food I am met with a small army of masked waiters armed with iPads. “What’s the name on your order?” Pause while the young man types. “I have you checked in, someone will be out with your food.” A minute later a young lady brings out our food, takes the money and wishes me a good day. WOW!
NOT WOW! During lockdown for COVID-19 there was a real push to support local restaurants. All of the restaurants are still offering takeout service. When I get home with our order the premiere salad is nothing more than a box of lettuce. BIG LET DOWN! NOT WOW! Different restaurant within the same week, completely botches the order and sends us a box with three onion rings, THREE, REALLY? Why such lousy service when we supported you during the hard times? WOW! RESPONSE the manager of the second took full responsibility for the mistake to the point that he claims to be the person who put the order together wrong, gives us a gift card for the full amount. WOW! WE WILL BE BACK!
WOW! I broke the small screwdriver on my Leatherman Micra when I decided to use it as a pry bar. I contacted the company and told them what I had done. They sent me a brand new multi-tool!
